Retreat Center

For making a retreat on one of the levels of our main Center, one needs bring only personal items and food for meals. Each level has a fully equipped kitchen for meal preparation. There is a supermarket two miles away in Pittsburg. If preferred, nearby restaurants could be used. Towels and bed linens are provided.

Rustic Hermitage

Our architecturally unique Rustic Hermitage has a quadruple cathedral ceiling, no interior walls, and rooms defined by differing floor levels. Four modules create a sitting room, chapel, bedroom, and a combined study/kitchen area equipped with a small refrigerator and a two-burner hot plate — all within a 16-foot square area. There is electricity and heat, while water is supplied by a thermos. There is an environmentally-friendly chemical toilet.

The Hermitage Spiritual Retreat Center is a not-for-profit corporation
governed by a Board of Directors of many Christian traditions,
open to all persons seeking spiritual renewal.
